Founded in November 2023 by students at Laurel Heights Secondary School in Waterloo, the KWinds Youth Ensemble is a quintet that brings together talented young musicians who share a passion for making music that inspires, connects, and entertains. Our stage name is The Hummingbirds since our musicians all play woodwinds instruments! We perform a wide variety of music, from classical to film scores, at school events, festivals, and community events throughout the year. Through every rehearsal and performance, we strive to learn, support one another, and share the gift of music with our community!
